MoKenStef was a female R&B trio from Los Angeles, California during the mid 1990s. The group name was a combination of the first syllable of each members' names: Monifa, Kenya, and Stephanie. They released one album, Azz Izz, in 1995, and their biggest hit was "He's Mine", which peaked at #7 on the Billboard Hot 100. Their second single, "Sex in the Rain," was not as successful peaking at #63 on the R&B chart.

This is a real nice laid back, funky R&B CD like only the 90's could produce, not only that they had a little gangsta street swag about 'em that i think is kinda sexy. Two of the girls are rappers too...i don't really enjoy the rapping most of the time it's straight though after awhile. They talk about love and relationships like any R&B album but don't really water down things like most girl groups...you could say they tell it like it is. You won't be disappointed if you love R&B, my favorite tracks on it are "Sex In The Rain", "He's Mine"(HIT), "Baby Come Close", and "Just Be Gentle".
